Andrew Taylor – THE Burryman
Five years have been and gone and in a few weeks I will be walking round the streets of South Queensferry. Last year we had a fantastic day and I felt it was my best year yet. The atmosphere and turnout at each part of the route was brilliant and I would like to thank everyone who came to support and help me.
In the lead up to the day of the Burryman there is a lot of preparation needing done, whether it’s collecting burrs, making patches and getting the bowler hat ready for the day. This is a team of people who I have as close friends and family and without them I wouldn’t be able to continue this fantastic tradition for South Queensferry, so thank you very much for all your time, help and support. It is very much appreciated.
My appreciation goes to Andrew Findlater and Duncan Thompson who will be accompanying me once again this year.
I am looking forward to seeing you all on Friday!
